Climate Week 2012 - 12 to 18 March 2012

Climate Week is Britain’s biggest climate change campaign and takes place between 12 and 18 March 2012. It focuses on how we can combat climate change and offers powerful opportunities for change to the many people who want to do their bit.

Climate Week showcases the many positive steps being taken to combat climate change, and inspires many more.

Sustainable Food & Drink supports Climate Week 2012 and strongly encourages Scottish food and drink companies and individuals to get involved. Please visit Climate Week 2012 for more information.

Our Climate Week 2012 pages, contain some ideas of areas you could focus on to cut your company’s carbon footprint. We’ve focused on energy, waste, transportation and refrigeration because the (corporate, rather than product) carbon footprints we’ve calculated identified these as significant sources of greenhouse gases. We’ve also included a small section on employee engagement because change doesn’t happen without people.

Please tell us what you're doing for Climate Week 2012, share your ideas for cutting carbon emissions and visit these pages regularly to see what others are doing.

Do not hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to explore any of the ideas listed in these pages or explore how Sustainable Food & Drink can help you cut your carbon footprint (use this link to send us a message or call us on 0141 273 1425).
