Who is God?

What could be a more important question than the one we address in this unit? We start with the doctrine of the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It should not surprise us that God may be hard to understand - he is the transcendent creator who sustains all things and is greater than all space and time.

We consider God’s unique attributes. Attempts to compare God with other things will always be limited. But that does not mean we cannot understand God at all. He has revealed himself and so we know him through what he has said about himself.
